Are you an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys working independently, solving complex mechanical issues, and supporting multiple commercial facilities? We're looking for a Mobile Engineer to maintain and repair critical building systems across 25 facilities throughout the Frederick, MD area.

If you have strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, basic electrical and plumbing experience, and enjoy a mobile, hands-on role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Travel between multiple facilities performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems

• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, calibrating, inspecting, and replacing components

• Monitor equipment performance and make operational adjustments to maximize efficiency

• Maintain facility services, inventory control, purchasing support, and contractor coordination

• Record equipment readings and document maintenance activities

• Monitor outside contractor work to ensure quality and cost effectiveness

• Maintain a safe work environment while following all safety policies and hazardous material handling procedures

• Identify potential equipment failures and proactively recommend corrective actions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of commercial building maintenance experience

• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills

• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge

• Experience maintaining commercial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs independently

• EPA 608 Type II Certification required (Universal Certification preferred)

• Valid driver's license required

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification

• Technical or trade school education in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems

• Experience supporting multiple commercial facilities in a mobile maintenance role
