A bit about us: Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their firm in North Atlanta. This opportunity is with an established mid-sized firm that specializes in representing government entities across the state of Georgia in general civil litigation, real estate law, complex government contracts, land use & zoning, and employment law. The incoming paralegal will provide support to 2 partners for a wide range of litigation matters involving real estate litigation, business litigation, land use & zoning, condemnations, and government law. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who values teamwork, high quality work product, organizational culture, and professional development. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing. Candidates with previous business, real estate, real property, or general civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply. A Paralegal Certificate is required for consideration. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary (overtime eligible), firm-paid medical benefits, remote work flexibility, annual bonuses, and a profit sharing 401k program in a great office environment. - Provide litigation support for real estate, condemnation, business, construction, and other general civil litigation matters
- Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas
- E-filing in state and federal court
- Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients
- Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.
- Assist with special projects as needed
