Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited programs approved by the APTA.
Active Florida Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain an active state license prior to the start of assignment.
BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluations and plan of care development for adult and geriatric populations.
Experience with 60-minute evaluations and combined eval/treatment sessions preferred.
Documentation experience using electronic medical records, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Student mentoring experience preferred.
Knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and outpatient safety protocols.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
Shift Pattern: 5x8 (five days per week, eight-hour shifts).
Duration: 13 week assignment.
Patient Sessions: 60 minute evaluations plus treatment sessions.
Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
