Position Overview

Our client, Oshkosh Corporation, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator III to support logistics operations at its Dodge Center, MN facility. This short-term contract opportunity will focus on coordinating freight movement, managing carrier relationships, monitoring shipments, and supporting logistics processes within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of logistics experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule with 40 hours per week
• Core office hours:
  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Employees may start as early as 6:00 AM or work later in the day as needed to complete 40 hours per week
• Opportunity for early Fridays based on schedule completion

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, dispatch, track, and coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments
• Monitor shipment activity and carrier performance to ensure service and compliance standards are met
• Manage expedited shipments and resolve transportation issues as they arise
• Maintain strong working relationships with carriers and transportation providers
• Support freight routing, shipment consolidation, and logistics planning activities
• Gather and analyze logistics data to support operational reporting and decision-making
• Assist with transportation bids, quote packages, carrier evaluations, and contract support activities
• Coordinate the movement of materials into manufacturing facilities and shipment of finished products to customers and dealers
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure smooth logistics operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Logistics experience within a manufacturing environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field
• Experience working with carriers, freight routing, transportation planning, or shipment tracking
