Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Description: Ecoff Campain & Kay, LLP seeks 2 attorneys; one with at least 4 years of civil defense litigation experience for its Beverly Hills office and one with at least 4 years experience in labor and employment matters. Applicants should have solid litigation and/or labor and employment experience and must be prepared to assume an active caseload from start to finish, including propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and appearing for motions, trial prep, and trial, making court appearances and client/carrier reporting. We are seeking attorneys who are good problem solvers and willing to efficiently manage a full load of cases under Partner supervision. The ideal candidates will actively handle litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by managing cases from inception to resolution. These individuals will build and maintain positive client relationships and provide an excellent client experience. Responsibilities: Providing legal support to clients Managing cases from inception through trial and/or appeal, as necessary Maintaining positive client relationships Preparing legal reports and documents Propounding and responding to discovery Drafting and appearing for law and motion Taking and defending depositions Client reporting Qualifications: CA Bar admitted attorney in good standing A minimum of 4 years of litigation and/or labor & employment experience Strong civil litigation knowledge Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Trial experience is a plus Proactive, responsive, responsible, accountable Strives to create and maintain healthy working relationships with co-workers and clients Job Type: Full-time Salary: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Free food & snacks Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Schedule: Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay License/Certification: CA Bar license (Required) Work Location: On location / In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Ecoff Campain & Kay, LLP
