Job Description
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule

3x12 night shifts with weekend coverage required.

Assignment Details

Travel assignment with a patient ratio of 1:7. Contract requires covering 4 weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Active State or Compact license required at the time of submission.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; CPI and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience managing approximately 6 patients preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system required.
• Key skills include vascular access, respiratory care, med-surg management, and rehab-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and medication administration.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and recovery processes.
• Participate in rapid response and code team situations as needed.
• Perform wound care and manage various therapies and treatments.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation is 12 hours; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Pre-approved time off is limited to 1 per contract.
