Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer on behalf of our client in a Remote capacity.

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Azure infrastructure professional to design, provision, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure environments supporting application development and deployment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Azure administration, Virtual Machines, IIS, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and database technologies . This role will collaborate closely with development and technical teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, reliable, and optimized for ongoing development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting application and development teams.

• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) based on application and infrastructure requirements.

• Provision, configure, and administer IIS environments for application hosting.

• Support database technologies within Azure and enterprise cloud environments.

• Configure and maintain Azure infrastructure across development and non-production environments.

• Partner with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into scalable Azure solutions.

• Monitor infrastructure for availability, performance, capacity, and operational issues .

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, operating systems, application hosting, networking, and connectivity issues.

• Configure appropriate security, access controls, networking, and resource standards across Azure environments.

• Support application deployments and associated infrastructure configurations.

• Assist with infrastructure automation and repeatable provisioning processes.

• Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.

• Maintain infrastructure documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with application, database, networking, development, and other technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Senior Azure Engineer, Azure Administrator, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer , or similar role.

• Extensive experience administering Microsoft Azure and provisioning cloud infrastructure.

• Strong experience provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Machines .

• Hands-on experience with IIS administration and application hosting .

• Experience supporting database technologies in Azure or enterprise cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, identity/access management, and resource configuration .

• Experience supporting development teams with infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, operating systems, connectivity, and application hosting environments.

• Ability to work across multiple Azure infrastructure technologies rather than specializing in a single service.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Azure infrastructure automation.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD environments .

• PowerShell or other scripting experience for infrastructure administration and automation.

• Knowledge of Azure networking technologies, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancing, and private connectivity .

• Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, and performance management.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments .

• Experience with Windows Server administration and related Microsoft technologies.

• Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
