Physical Therapy Technician

The Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) plays a vital role in supporting physical therapists and ensuring patients receive high-quality rehabilitative care. This position involves assisting with therapeutic exercises, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining equipment to facilitate smooth clinical operations. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Physical Therapy Technician or completion of a relevant training program.
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physical therapy principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a physical therapy or rehabilitation setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Additional coursework or certification in patient care or rehabilitation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions, providing support and reporting any changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide education on therapy procedures.
