CNC Programmer for Aerospace and Defense

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer specializing in aerospace and defense manufacturing. The ideal candidate will create precise CNC programs using Mastercam and SolidWorks for complex machining operations on advanced equipment. This role demands collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to stringent industry standards without requiring travel. Opportunities for professional growth include advancing to technical expert positions and project leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis milling, turning centers, and multi-tasking CNC machines
- Utilize Mastercam and SolidWorks to create detailed machining instructions
- Perform CNC machining tasks aligned with aerospace, defense, and semiconductor requirements
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project specifications
- Maintain high precision and quality throughout the manufacturing process
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in CNC programming
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software
- Expertise in precision measurement and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards
- Strong attention to detail
