Acute Registered Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Assesses physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement in care. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team including case managers, social workers, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care. Maintains safety-sensitive responsibilities, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Licenses: Valid RN license. Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred. Skills: Critical thinking, effective communication, patient education, teamwork, and adaptability.
