Live-Event Cashier: Fast, Friendly Service

Position SummaryThe Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests in a high-volume sports and entertainment environment. This role handles transactions, processes orders, and ensures a positive guest experience during games, concerts, and events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceGreet guests in a friendly and professional manner.Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic guest concerns.Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude during busy events.POS OperationsOperate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions.Accept credit and cashless payments accurately.Follow all the company's payment processing procedures.Order Accuracy & EfficiencyAccurately input orders and communicate with the kitchen or service staff.Maintain speed of service during peak periods (halftime, intermissions, etc.).Ensure all items are properly rung up and delivered to guests correctly.Cleanliness & ComplianceMaintain a clean and organized workstation.Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.Comply with all company policies, including alcohol service regulations if applicable.Team SupportWork collaboratively with cooks, runners, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.Assist with restocking and setup/breakdown as needed.Support overall stand operations during high-volume events.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous cashier, retail, or food service experience preferred.Experience in sports venues, stadiums, or high-volume hospitality environments is a plus.Strong customer service and communication skills.Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods during events.Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds.ScheduleFlexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.Must be available for games, concerts, and large-scale events.Key CompetenciesCustomer service excellenceAccuracy and attention to detailSpeed and efficiencyTeamwork and collaborationReliability and punctuality #J-18808-Ljbffr Legends Global
