Research Associate

Piper Clinical Solutions is seeking a Research Associate to support a well-known biotech organization out of the Baltimore, MD area. This role is a true R&D analytical role with a great team! Responsibilities of the Research Associate include: Design, generate, and characterize recombinant proteins Perform mammalian cell culture, transient transfections, protein expressions, protein purifications, and micro pipetting in a GMP setting Perform ELISA assays and other cell-based assays Collect, analyze, and summarize data using statistical software programs Perform laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and calibrating equipment and ordering laboratory supplies Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Qualifications of the Research Associate include: 2+ years of experience working in a GMP or academic laboratory supporting assay development (PCR, ELISAs, etc..) Experience with mammalian cell culture, ELISA assays, formulations and micro pipetting Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and/or related field such as biology, chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, etc. Compensation for the Research Associate includes: Salary: $52,000 -66,000 *depending on relevant experience* Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (through Cigna), 401k, Sick leave required as by law, PTO, Holidays This job opens for applications on 8/4/2026.
