Maintenance Assistant

Seeking a reliable, motivated and energetic individual to join our team at a 35 unit affordable housing apartment complex in Bangor to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Must be available to participate in the on-call schedule.

Pay is $25-27 per hour, based on experience.

Broad Scope Of Duties:

• Unit turnover (making units ready for rent)
• Repairs to appliances and fixtures
• Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Paint building interiors
• Miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• Change locks
• Grounds keeping, landscaping and snow removal
• Vacuuming stairwells and hallways, mopping all common areas, wiping down all entryways, dusting all light fixtures, and cleaning all front door entryways
• Making sure that vacant units are clean
