About the Opportunity

We are hiring Radiologic Technologists – X-Ray to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient-care locations throughout the community.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently, traveling to different facilities, and providing quality patient care in a mobile environment.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform portable X-rays using digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic X-ray images according to physician orders.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
• Transmit completed images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Complete and scan required exam paperwork and billing documentation.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and management.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, clients, coworkers, and supervisory staff.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle and X-ray equipment.
• Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Travel to various patient-care facilities as part of the mobile imaging role.

-> Qualifications & Requirements

• ARRT certification – Required
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license – Required
• Limited X-ray license not accepted
• Valid California driver's license in good standing
• Ability to meet all required health and operational requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption with appropriate documentation
• Previous mobile X-ray experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage mobile assignments

-> Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Push and pull portable X-ray equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
• Frequently transport equipment using vehicle ramps and pulleys.
• Move equipment through healthcare facilities and patient-care environments.
• Perform physical activities involving approximately 50 lbs. of force or more, 16–24 times per day .
