Candidates should be proficient and comfortable with general ultrasound, small parts, and vascular studies for both upper and lower extremities. Experience with Client ultrasound including fetal surveys for all trimesters is essential. Some pediatric experience in areas such as hips, spine, head, pylorus, and intussusception is also required. The position requires the ability to float to multiple sites. The Ultrasound Technologist will work with both inpatient and outpatient populations across all ages. Candidates should be agreeable to rotating weekends and holidays as part of the job responsibilities. A solid background in ultrasound procedures in a radiology environment is expected. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important for successful performance in this role.
