GROCERY STOCKER - PART TIME

GeneralDescription

This is a Part-time Position working under thesupervision of the NuNu's Fresh Market Grocery Manager, Store Manager and Assistant Manager.


Assists in building customer sales, providingsuperior customer service, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, carrying outorders for customers, and maintaining store conditions up to NuNu's standards. Dependable, punctual, good work habits, detail oriented, and a high energylevel. Must maintain a clean andpresentable appearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all customers with a smile and a pleasant attitude.
• Engage in appropriate conversations with customers and thanking them for choosing to shop with us.
• Understands and complies with allsafety and sanitation guidelines of NuNu's.
• Responsible for keeping grocery, dairy,and frozen shelves stocked, properly rotated, and fronted according to NuNu's specifications.
• Working backstock products.
• Keeps retail store area and warehousearea clean and safe.
• Knowledge of items in store and ableto answer customer inquiries or direct them to the proper department supervisoror store manager or assistant manager
• Performs a high level of customerservice at all times.
• Communicates with customers in aprofessional manner.
• Serve as backup to bag grocery and bring groceries to customers cars as needed.
• Performs all other duties as neededand required.

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities

• Must haveexcellent communication skills, polite, and friendly.
• Able to complywith NuNu's sanitation and safety standards.
• Able to lift andcarry 70 lbs.
• Able to properlyunload, store, and rotate merchandise.
• Able to properlybag groceries and bring to customer cars.
• Able to work intemperatures below 30 degrees for long periods of time.
• Able to sweep andmop.
• Able to userepetitive motion with hands and arms.
• Able to operatepallet jack and cardboard baler.
• Skill in readingand math.
• Ability tounderstand and comply with NuNu's policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
• Customer serviceskills required.
• Ability to workwell with different personalities.
• Ability to workunder stressful situations.
• Able to bend, stoop,and climb ladders.
• Able to stand forlong periods of time.
• Able to work various shifts including weekends.
