Total Rewards Administrator I

Position Function:

Supports the administration and delivery of the organization’s compensation, benefits, recognition, and employee rewards programs. This role is responsible for ensuring Total Rewards programs are administered accurately, efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with established policies and applicable regulations. Serves as a key resource for internal customers and external vendors, helping ensure a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Compensation
  • Administer compensation programs, including salary changes, promotions, transfers, job descriptions, job changes, and other compensation actions.
  • Maintain compensation data, salary ranges, job information, and employee records.
  • Assist with annual merit, bonus, and incentive processes.
  • Prepare compensation reports and analysis to support HR and leadership decisions.
  • Conduct market, internal equity, and other comp analysis.
• Benefits
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, and other company-sponsored programs.
  • Process new-hire enrollment, qualifying life events, status changes, and benefits termination.
  • Support annual open enrollment, including system setup and interfaces, employee communications, and data validation.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefit eligibility, enrollment, and plan provisions.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and carriers to resolve employee issues and discrepancies.
  • Reconcile benefits data and identify and correct errors.
• HR Data
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee compensation and benefits information.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform compensation and benefits analyses.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports related to compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards.
  • Assist with HRIS testing, system updates, and implementation of process improvements.
• Employee & HR Support
  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for questions related to compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards.
  • Provide timely and professional responses while protecting confidential employee information.
  • Partner with internal HR teams to resolve employee issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with required reporting, audits, and vendor management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of HR or related work experience required.
• 3+ years of Total Rewards, compensation, and/or benefits experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
• Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
• Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
• Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
• Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
