The candidate must be a quick learner, team player, and effective communicator with a passion for special education. Qualifications Four-year degree preferred. Ability to relate to and work with disabled children. Excellent integrity, good moral character, and initiative. Strong interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community. Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred. Responsibilities Assist students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher. Collect data, use Student Program Books, and share updates with staff. Assist students with preparation of all materials and books. Assist the teacher in related clerical work. Use computers and/or electronic equipment to support remote learning. Serve as a role model for students and staff by demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire, grooming, and effective work ethic. Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings. Display ethical behavior when working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies. Protect confidentiality of records and information, using discretion within legal confines. Salary commensurate with related experience.
