Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $27-$33 (Based on Experience) 

2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment and machinery. This role needs a strong understanding of mechanical and basic electrical systems, as you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Job Duties:

• Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) .
• Troubleshoot and maintain diverse industrial machinery, including conveyors, water pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, basic 3-phase electrical systems, box erectors, tapers, palletizers, and perform minor forklift repairs.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and preventative maintenance work orders.
• Create detailed repair work order s, including parts lists and work instructions.
• Participate in daily shift handover meetings to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
• Assess the condition of used parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers, adhering to specifications.
• Maintain accurate parts and tools inventory .
• Perform other various duties as needed to support operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Comfortable working with computers.
• Proficiency in operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs .
• A team player with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
