About This Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Oshkosh, WI. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children aged 1 to 3 years can explore, learn, and grow. You will design age-appropriate activities, foster social-emotional development, and maintain open communication with families to support each child's unique developmental milestones.
What You'll Do- Plan and implement daily lesson plans that promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
- Provide attentive care, including monitoring playtime, facilitating meals, and assisting with diapering and toilet training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets state licensing regulations.
- Observe and document individual student progress to share with parents during regular updates and conferences.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 80 hours of approved early childhood training or equivalent coursework.
- Completion of infant and toddler development training within standard state timelines.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting process.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- One or more years of experience working specifically with toddlers in a licensed childcare facility.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Registry career levels and licensing requirements.
