SharePoint DeveloperMarathon TS is looking to hire a SharePoint Developer to support the United States House of Representatives. The contractor will develop sites using SharePoint Online functionality. If necessary, the contractor shall perform customizations to deliver the required functionality. The site to be developed will automate business processes in support of the CAO / HIR / Operations and Continuity (O&C) management process, supporting business continuity and disaster recovery functions and provide a dashboard / reporting functionality.The contractor must be able to interact with executive-level customers and management to gather requirements and deliver solutions/functionality, work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines.Candidate specific requirements, at an expert-level:Experience developing in SharePoint Online environment required3 years minimum experience with SharePoint permissions5 years minimum experience in SharePoint 2013/2016 Design, Configuration & Customization5 years minimum experience supporting/administering SharePoint on premise and/or Online5 years minimum experience in SharePoint Online/Office 365 taxonomy, metadata, content management, collaboration, custom web parts, reports, search, Master Pages, content types5 years minimum experience with (HTML, CSS (Responsive), JavaScript, jQuery, SharePoint SP services, Rest API, Angular JS, Node JS, React JS, and Bootstrap ), and knowledge utilizing JavaScript to display SharePoint list dataExperience with Flow as a replacement for SharePoint Framework (SPFX)Experience with modern JavaScript framework and rapid application development platforms (React/Redux, NodeJS, etc.)Must have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have exceptional presentation skills.Must be able to gather and translate user requirements to technical solutions and implement those requirementsRelated IT certifications preferred (SharePoint)Related College degree preferred (Bachelor and/or master's degree in computer science or Information Systems)Must be able to pass a United States Capitol Police (USCP) background check.Description of Work:Configure and implement out-of-the box SharePoint sites to include but not be limited to web parts and workflows/servicesUnderstand SharePoint core features to configure out-of-the-box and custom SharePoint Online solutionsConfigure Site Columns and Site Content TypesCreate custom HTML pages present SharePoint list contentUtilize JavaScript and jQuery Libraries to render SharePoint dataImplement intuitive user interfaces for SharePoint Solutions, when requiredCreate SharePoint Add-ins development, deployment to build custom AppsDesign and create SharePoint templatesDevelop metadata and taxonomy based on user requirements to ensure view and structure of application fits user requirementsConfigure search scopesConfigure Permission/Access ControlDesign and implement out of the box and customized workflows and page viewsProvide support for installation, farm configuration and useMultitask several competing requests by gathering effective requirements, estimating tasks and managing prioritiesBe a proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to quickly assemble the big picturePerform other official duties as assignedMarathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
