Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing

About This Role The Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing is accountable for executing payer and reimbursement marketing activities to support brand objectives across the Biogen portfolio. In this role, the individual serves as a critical liaison aligning brand strategy to market access and reimbursement priorities, with the ultimate goal of optimizing the access & reimbursement process in collaboration with the access strategy teams. What You’ll Do Lead the creation of market access payer and reimbursement marketing initiatives for therapies across the Biogen portfolio and manage execution of these materials via our vendor agency of record; manage budgets, timelines, logistics, etc. Own the medical, legal, and regulatory materials review process to ensure fulfillment and execution of projects and tactics within budget, in a timely manner, and with strong messaging. Ensure alignment and coordination of Market Access & Reimbursement strategies with the US Brand teams at SM level. Establish value narrative in collaboration with Access Strategy teams and execute multichannel campaigns to deliver it; support the building of messaging tailored to various stakeholders, including government and private payers, health plans, and PBMs. Support the rollout of access and reimbursement strategies/frameworks to field teams, including account director, field sales and field reimbursement teams. Support annual brand planning from a Market Access and Reimbursement perspective, in collaboration with access strategy teams and brand teams. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharma industry experience, including direct responsibility for marketing activities, ideally for payers Strong understanding of health care delivery and payment/insurance systems in the US Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forward, establish budgets and timelines Strong interpersonal skills - builds relationships by identifying common goals and engaging in a transparent, trust‑building manner Heightened ability to collaborate, influence, and work with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver results Experience managing multiple demands and priorities on time and under business constraints Experience managing key commercial processes that are critical to business performance, including brand planning and positioning, value proposition development, and pricing/reimbursement strategy Preferred Skills Veeva Vault experience Familiarity with FDA marketing guidelines for pharmaceutical products Job Level Management Additional Information Compensation: Base salary is $147,000.00–$197,000.00, determined through an analytical approach taking into account skills, experience, location and internal equity. Eligible for short‑term and long‑term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities.
