Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students’ communication and language development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a full-time contract basis. This position provides the chance to positively impact young learners across two welcoming elementary schools in the New Braunfels area. You’ll work alongside experienced, onsite supervising SLPs who are dedicated to mentorship and collaboration.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Texas SLPA licensure and credentialing required
• Experience in school-based settings preferred, though strong clinical skills are welcome
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
• Proficiency with electronic documentation—including SLP Toolkit for session notes and SHARS data
• Detail-oriented approach to monitoring IEP compliance and tracking service minutes on a district platform
• Adaptable, organized, and committed to student success

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of elementary students (approx. 34 at Voss Farms Elementary and 38 at Lamar Elementary)
• Follow treatment plans, individualized education programs (IEPs), and directives supervised by campus SLPs
• Accurately document progress, session notes, and SHARS entries using SLP Toolkit
• Ensure timely entry of IEP minutes on the district’s tracking platform
• Collaborate with educational teams to support best outcomes for each student
• Work within elementary school hours (7:30am–4:00pm)
