Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.Job DescriptionAs a Fund Administration Supervisor 2, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day financial and compliance operations for 33 Act exchange-traded fund (“ETF”), mutual fund, closed end fund and/or business development company clients. As a Fund Administration Supervisor 2, you will spend key time:Lead and manage teams responsible for fund compliance programs, regulatory filings, and financial statement preparationOversee client relationships at a high level and support the administration teams that service themProactively coordinate fund operations and communications with service providers, including investment advisors, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, attorneys, and auditorsReview fund and client account activity to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actionsProvide training and technical guidance to staff regarding regulatory and procedural changesEvaluate existing procedures and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and complianceProvide objective guidance to other supervisors within a team.Participate in department level initiatives, committees and working groupsExecute strategies and drive change for the fund administration department and the entire business lineSupport business growth initiatives, including participation in new client or product activitiesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fieldCPA certified or candidateNine or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field, i.e., public accountingPreferred Skills/ExperienceDemonstrated experience leading, supervising and developing professional staffSuperior knowledge of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles affecting registered investment fundsAdvanced understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1933Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, long‑term projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with significant client interactionProficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PC applicationsSuperior commitment to ethics, compliance, and internal control standardsIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants. Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
