Job Description Job Description LHH is partnering with a company in the Seattle, WA area that is searching for a temporary to hire Accountant. The Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations for assigned entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely completion of deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least one year of accounting experience. You will work with a small accounting team, but since you will be focused on managing accounting for specific entities, ability to work independently is important. The office is in downtown Seattle, WA close to public transportation. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting and maintain general ledger accuracy Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Record journal entries and daily financial activity Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances Monitor cash activity and assist with disbursements Partner with internal teams to provide financial support and analysis Assist with process improvements and ad hoc projects Qualifications One or more years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement flow Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers Able to function well in a fast-paced work environment Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour Search managed by: Brittany Cona Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
