Maintenance Technician

Maintenance MechanicWe are currently seeking mechanically inclined individuals with basic electrical understanding for immediate openings in our maintenance department. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Tier 1 Honda Supplier facility. Your primary responsibility will be to tackle urgent matters and keep production lines running, with approximately 95% of your role dedicated to resolving immediate issues. You will address mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems within the facility, working with robotic welders, tube benders, and other machinery. Additionally, you will perform simple troubleshooting of electrical cabinets using a volt meter and replace components such as motors, rollers, chain conveyors, photo eyes, and proxy switches. The facility employs 597 employees working across three shifts. Currently, there are two openings for the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). The role may require flexibility to work on weekends and up to 60 hours per week. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of New Castle, IN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $54870.00 - $71760.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
