ASI Landscapes, a Company of Yardnique, is hiring a full‑time Crew Leader for lawn maintenance. This role involves supervising a crew to perform landscape maintenance tasks safely and efficiently while meeting high quality and customer service standards. Position Details Job Category: Crew Leader, Landscaping Industry: Lawn Maintenance Employee Type: Full‑Time Temp Non‑Exempt Position Type: Full‑time, Monday through Friday, variable hours beginning at 6:30 am. Occasional weekend work and overtime beyond 40 hours may be required. Reports To: Account Manager Responsibilities Perform assigned property maintenance contract requirements promptly, adhering to production levels, customer service standards, and supervisory instructions. Understand and comply with company safety policies and procedures. Operate hand tools and maintenance equipment safely, including ride‑on, walk‑behind and push mowers; edgers, trimmers, pruning tools, blowers, thatchers, overseeders, etc. Mow properties weekly; edge hardscapes and beds; weed, water flower beds and turf, and cut weeds as appropriate. Apply fertilizers and pest control techniques correctly and on schedule. Assist in pruning shrubs with detail crew support. Report any damaged trees or missing plant material. Conduct basic preventive maintenance on equipment (check fluid levels, tire pressure, blades, etc.) to ensure safe operation. Accurately report time worked per crew time‑reporting procedures. Interact professionally and courteously with crew members, supervisors, and company personnel. Work all assigned hours. Adhere to dress and conduct expectations. Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in landscape maintenance tools and techniques. Strong safety consciousness and integrity. Effective communication and teamwork skills. 3 years of experience performing landscaping or related tasks. Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisory instructions competently. Physical ability to handle workload and job demands. Professional and courteous communication with others. Physical Demands Use upper and lower body to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods. Reach overhead with hands and arms to hold, climb, or balance. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment to complete job tasks. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Travel Crew leaders travel from the main operations building to job sites in a company truck and return daily.
