Essential Functions Work on site supporting different tasks for demolition and construction projects. Torch cutting different types of material. Rigging experience helpful. Ability to adhere to OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and company hazardous materials laws and policies. Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hardworking and motivated every day. Experience Minimum of 2 years construction experience required. OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required; if not current, willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. Experience with construction hand tools required. Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required. Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required. High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required. Required Working Environment / Physical Demands Coordination: Ability to coordinate actions with other workers on busy construction sites. Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are essential. Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution, and toxic atmospheres. PPE: Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary. Lifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and lift 50 lbs. regularly. Climbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders; ability to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required. Compensation Compensation Range: $32.00 - $35.00/hour Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
