Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing high‑quality patient care on the medical‑surgical unit, with a focus on acute and complex patient needs. The role requires flexibility to float between units as needed in a fast‑paced, short‑term acute care facility. Job Details Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026. Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, BLS certification, proof of active Oregon state nursing license, experience with Epic charting system. Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, clinical proficiency in using rapid response teams, peripheral line care/management, and oxygen administration. Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be required to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. The assignment includes working during 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) with all scheduling requests to be made at the time of submittal. Candidates will be expected to complete pre‑start modules in Workramp transcripts, with annual refresher requirements.
