Business Development Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing
Join a growing aerospace manufacturing team focused on advanced composites, tooling, and automation solutions.
This role focuses on growing aerospace manufacturing business by building relationships with customers, identifying new opportunities, and selling technical solutions such as composite tooling, molds, automation systems, and production lines. The person will work closely with engineering teams, prepare proposals and contracts, ensure ITAR compliance, and represent the company at industry events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships within the aerospace industry.
- Present technical solutions including composite tooling, molds, robotic systems, and production lines.
- Work with engineering and production teams to understand customer needs and company capabilities.
- Prepare RFQs, proposals, contracts, and related documentation.
- Support ITAR/export compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Research market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales support within aerospace, defense, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ITAR/export control regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Aerospace composites, tooling, or advanced manufacturing.
- Automation systems, robotics, and composite technologies (PPS, PEEK, Thermoset/Thermoplastic).
- Existing relationships within aerospace OEMs or defense contractors.
