Affordable Housing Senior Counsel/Partner (LIHTC)

Cohen Liuzzo PLLC is seeking Senior Counsel or Partner with 8+ years of sophisticated transactional affordable housing/LIHTC experience. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a growing transactional real estate practice that handles complex, multi-layered, national affordable housing transactions – work that is both challenging and rewarding. Qualified candidates will have experience representing owners/developers of affordable housing and should have played key roles in complex property acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, development deals, and financing transactions. Experience with community development financing structures, including LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and other affordable housing incentives, is essential. In addition to the ability to independently \"run a deal\" and supervise deal team members, qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials, strong communication and collaboration skills, confident drafting and editing abilities, as well as a commitment to excellence and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A portable book of business is preferred. Salary: $300,000-400,000, commensurate with experience, with profit sharing potential.
