About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: 2+ years in cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience; 1 year CVOR experience; 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility. License: Valid compact or state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Scrub experience is required. - Experience in cardiac and vascular cases. Description: This position supports overnight staffing on a 24/7 basis. Shifts would occur from 18:30 to 07:00. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, as block scheduling is not available. The role involves working holidays and weekends. Experience scrubbing in cardiac and vascular procedures is a firm requirement. Common open cases include CABG, valve surgeries, AAA repairs, and other cardiac interventions. Candidates must be proficient in the EPIC charting system. Responsibilities may include management of various surgical instruments and patient care during procedures. Candidates must have experience with specific surgical procedures such as aortic aneurysm repair and coronary artery bypass grafts. Compliance with credentialing processes and fingerprinting is required. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager or director. Candidates must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
