Quality Control Technician

Quality Control TechnicianWe are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Rosenberg, TX plant. As a Quality Control Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for ensuring quality control of batching, mixing, and delivering high-quality ready-mixed concrete that meets project specifications and customer expectations. This role requires travel to monitor quality standards and perform testing.Why apply?Competitive wages.Opportunities for overtime.Company provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.About the RoleResponsibilities:Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).Calibrate production and testing equipment.Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.About YouWe Require:A high school diploma or GED.A minimum of 1–year of QC experience within a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment.Good organizational and math skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.About UsEach day brings new challenges, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
