Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a nursing position focusing on Medical/Surgical Telemetry. This is a night shift role offering 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in charge nurse roles is preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios relevant to the specialty.
• Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Community Hospital. Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Trauma Level I or II is a plus.
• Travel experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Additional Information

All candidates must complete background checks, and adverse findings may lead to disqualification. Those with open cases or license issues will not be considered. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, while all other candidates must be nicotine-free.

Working Conditions

• The facility requires annual competency assessments for nurses who maintain continuous contracts.
• Completion of pre-start and annual modules is mandatory, with time allotted for training varying by specialty.
