Nursing positions at Family Tree Private Care include full-time, part-time, and PRN LVNs. We are seeking compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. The role offers flexible schedule options in a warm, positive, and supportive work environment. Responsibilities Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions. Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit. Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs. Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress. Educate caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient. Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care. Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient. Skills Strong interpersonal skills that allow building personal rapport and trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients’ enjoyment and comfort. Initiative to make independent decisions when required and to accept direction and requests from patients. The ability to follow instructions but also act independently if necessary. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently. Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments. Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs. Requirements and Qualifications Relevant license and certification A valid driver’s license and reliable transport Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry – hospice, home health, hospital, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
