divh2Seasonal Sales Associate - Store/h2pSales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. Sales Associates must be knowledgeable of all product lines. Sales Associates are also responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and all merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets and all basic visual standards needed to ensure a neat and clean store./ppstrongDuties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliSupport the Cavenders Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values/liliProvide friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction by using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques/liliAvoid high pressure selling tactics/liliMaximize selling opportunities with each customer/liliKeep abreast of the latest fashion trends in the western wear industry/liliKeep work area neat, clean and organized/liliBe knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures/liliKeep updated on sale promotions (items/prices/etc.)/liliHelp stock merchandise and straighten store as needed/liliReport to work promptly and neatly groomed/liliBe security conscious at all times/liliAlways scan product to ensure everything is in its correct area, signed correctly and neatly displayed. Associates in the boot department should always check for mismates/liliWork with customers who return product for an exchange/liliProvide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries (e.g. boot and clothing fit, sale promotions, price, product workmanship and inventory)/liliPerform all other duties as assigned/liliWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desire goals set by the company (i.e. ADS / UPTs / Company or Vendor contest)/li/ulpstrongQualifications and Requirements/strong/pulliJob requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift/liliAbility to comprehend basic instructions/liliAbility to interpret documents/liliAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks/liliAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond/liliAssociate must be able to read English./liliAssociate must be able to understand English/liliAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned/li/ulpCavenders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
