The organization values integrity, respect, and evidence-based practice while maintaining a supportive environment for both clients and team members. \n Role Description The Behavioral Health Technician at MisFit Project ABA is a part-time, on-site role based in St Joseph, MO. This role involves implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or clinical supervisor. Day-to-day tasks include delivering direct one-on-one behavioral interventions, collecting accurate data on client progress, and assisting with skill-building activities across communication, social, and daily living domains. The Behavioral Health Technician will follow established protocols, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and actively participate in team meetings and training. The role also requires clear documentation of sessions and regular collaboration with supervisors and caregivers to support consistency in care. \n Qualifications \n \n \n Behavioral science skills, including Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with the ability to follow treatment plans and intervention procedures. \n Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members and to document observations clearly. \n Competence in Behavioral Intervention techniques, including de-escalation strategies and positive behavior support. \n Foundational knowledge of Psychology or related fields to understand behavioral principles and client needs. \n High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred. \n Ability to work on-site in St Joseph, MO, including standing, moving, and engaging in activities with clients as needed. \n Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in data collection and documentation. \n Willingness to undergo training in ABA methods and maintain any required certifications; prior experience in ABA or behavioral health is an advantage. \n
