Registered Nurse - Perioperative Nursing

Schedule: Day 3x12's, on call as needed

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN license in State of Oregon
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• TNCC Certification
• Preferred: CNOR certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services.
• Act as a patient advocate and direct the supervision of assigned personnel.
• Implement the plan of care and protect the patient from injury during surgical procedures.
• Ensure the correct site, side, and level for surgical procedures are maintained.
• Communicate the patient's status to relevant parties throughout the continuum of care.
• Administer medications safely and effectively.

Compliance / Notes:

• Participate in required education for applicable programs.
• Support the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
