Aerotek is looking for mechanically inclined individuals to join our clients assembly team, assembling heavy-duty industrial equipment used throughout North America. Our clients equipment works in aggregate mines, recycling facilities, biomass operations, mulch processing facilities, and other demanding industrial environments.
Pay- 19 - 24 an hour
Shift- 6am to 4pm / Monday to Friday

What You'll Build

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll help assemble and prepare:

• Industrial conveyor systems
• Material handling equipment
• Crushers and screeners
• Feeders and hopper systems
• Biomass and recycling equipment
• Custom-engineered processing systems

Every project is different. Every machine is built to perform in tough, real-world conditions.
What You'll Do

• Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
• Assemble mechanical systems, structures, and components
• Install bearings, shafts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, guards, belts, and hydraulic components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot fitment and assembly issues
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, painters, and engineering personnel
• Perform quality checks throughout the build process
• Help prepare equipment for testing and shipment

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

• Mechanical assembly
• Heavy equipment repair
• Diesel or agricultural equipment
• Industrial maintenance
• Conveyor systems
• Construction equipment
• Millwright work
• Manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Automotive or fleet maintenance
• Hydraulic systems

Don't have experience in all of these? That's okay. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn can be just as valuable.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
