Acute Respiratory Therapist

An exciting opportunity is available for an Acute Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients within a critical access healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients as per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, making necessary adjustments as required.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and related issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Acute Respiratory Therapist.
• Valid state licensure and certifications as required for practice.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to function independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Information

All clinical staff assignments are subject to state-specific checks, including verification against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the start date. Candidates must ensure all required certifications are in place before commencing their role.

Orientation for new hires occurs weekly on Mondays, and all candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for this travel role.
