Radiology - Nuclear Med Tech

Nuclear Medicine TechnologistAn experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialized cancer center with a consistent weekday schedule and advanced PET/CT imaging technology. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There is a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients with primary diagnoses related to oncology. The department is an outpatient cancer center that performs PET/CT procedures. The specialized equipment includes Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT and hot lab equipment. Documentation is managed through NMIS/Pinestar. The medication system in use is Omnicell, and electronic medical records are handled via Epic.Must-have: Experience working in adult clinic and hospital settings Siemens equipment experience PET imaging experience Starting and maintaining IVs Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE Safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materialsPreferred Qualifications: ARRT (N) ARRT (PET) Previous charge technologist experience Preferred Skills: Experience administering theranostic injections. The work environment includes an adult outpatient oncology clinic with advanced PET/CT imaging and a collaborative multidisciplinary cancer care team. Scrub color is navy blue. Up to two pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract.
