About the role you're considering

Business Architects is involved in performing oversight of our technical architect deliverables.  You’ll define the implementation and coding approach for customizations, interfaces, system architecture, data flow and data architecture/data model.  You will be the lead point of contact for defining technical requirements, leading both the client and the project team through technical decisions and challenges to assure our implementation meets the customer’s requirements.

Managing Business Architect Design, deliver and manage complete business architecture solutions. Demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen. 

Your skills & experience

• Leads go-to-market strategy, sales pursuits, and delivery oversight
• Builds the Incentive Management Team from its initial engagements forward, pairing hands-on functional and technical depth with senior client relationship management.
• The focus of this role is specifically on the SAP Incentive Management / SAP Commissions / Callidus Commissions solution stack.
• Personally, leads or oversees delivery on initial Incentive Management engagements, applying direct functional and technical expertise to de-risk early client outcomes.
• Builds and mentors the consultant and architect bench as the team grows, pairing a nucleus of deep incentive compensation specialists with cross-trained functional, integration, platform and analytics resources.
• Establishes delivery standards, methodology and quality gates for SAP Incentive Management engagements.
• Drives sales pursuits from qualification through proposal and statement of work, partnering with DCX sales and SAP CX account teams.
• Defines a standard discovery and migration-assessment offer covering compensation plan design, data, integrations, reports, workflows, security, history, operations, licensing and target platform choice.
• Shapes go-to-market strategy for SAP Incentive Management, including offering definition, positioning and points of view across the product's lineage: legacy Callidus Commissions, SAP Commissions and the current cloud-native SAP Incentive Management platform.
• Maintains certification currency for the Incentive Management team.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years implementing sales performance management or incentive compensation solutions, including hands-on delivery on SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management, SAP Commissions, or the Callidus Commissions platform.
• Proven track record leading sales pursuits and proposal development within a systems integrator or consulting environment.
• Deep functional knowledge of incentive compensation plan design, quota management, territory management and dispute management processes.
• Working technical knowledge of the platform's rules engine, calculation processing and integration patterns with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP Activate's Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy and Run methodology, enriched with compensation-specific controls such as parallel run testing and payout reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead delivery teams and manage senior client stakeholders concurrently with business development responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience growing a delivery team within a consulting organization.
• Experience building a payout-assurance framework with transaction level, payee level, period level and finance level controls.
• Exposure to adjacent SAP CX solutions, including SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ).
• Industry experience in high-tech, life sciences, financial services or manufacturing sales organizations.
• SAP Certified: SAP Incentive Management (C_THR70) certification is a plus but is not required.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $98,497 - $233,248.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
