Position will float between units is not required. Successful candidates must be available for weekends every other weekend. No block schedules are required. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. Night shift does not perform PICC placements. Knowledge of EPIC Hardstop is essential. Client type is a Short Term Acute Care facility with 418 staffed beds. Staff members have a choice of scrub color; OR/L&D scrubs are provided. Charting is done using Epic. Team of 3 nurses works during the day shift, and there is only 1 clinician at night. Consults typically involve 15 visits per person, with 1-5 PICC consults/placements each day. All shifts require coverage on designated weekends. Patient demographics include neonates, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if necessary. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Providers must complete all compliance checks prior to the start of the contract.
