Role Description The Payroll Administrator is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple clients. Day-to-day tasks include entering and reviewing payroll data, calculating wages and deductions, and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and internal policies. The role involves administering garnishments, coordinating with clients on employee benefits information, and maintaining precise payroll records and reports. The Payroll Administrator will respond to payroll-related inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with accounting and HR contacts to support seamless payroll operations. This position requires consistent attention to detail, strong confidentiality, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote, deadline-driven environment.\n
Qualifications

• Payroll Administration skills, including end-to-end payroll processing and record maintenance

• Experience handling Garnishments and related employee wage deductions

• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and regulatory compliance requirements

• Understanding of Employee Benefits as they relate to payroll calculations and reporting

• Accounting skills to reconcile payroll data and support financial accuracy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail

• Proficiency with payroll software and common office applications (e.g., Excel, accounting systems)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet strict deadlines

• Relevant experience in payroll, accounting, or HR; formal coursework or certification in payroll or accounting is a plus
