Cardiac Sonographer Reg (RDCS) Days - Christian Hospital -Echo

Full‑Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) – Graphics (Echocardiology) Department Position Details Full‑Time Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Paid On‑Call – Compensation for each 5th week and one holiday per year. Graphics (Echocardiology) department. Performs tests and procedures at various locations throughout the hospital. Maintains accurate patient logs in EPIC, updates daily charges, utilizes cardiac laboratory menus. Maintains cardiac laboratory patient files. Opportunities to learn and practice advanced echo‑guided procedures. Location is near the following areas: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL / Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack Requirements Associate’s Degree or equivalent trade‑school education. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification. Experience New graduates welcome. No previous experience required. Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Echocardiographer Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist Cardiovascular Sonographer Echocardiography Technologist Cardiac Imaging Specialist Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Responsibilities Perform cardiac tests, including treadmill stress testing, Holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo, and cardiac Doppler. Perform tests and procedures at various locations. Maintain accurate patient logs. Update daily charges and use cardiac laboratory menus. Maintain cardiac laboratory patient files. Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: No experience required. Supervisor Experience: No experience required. Licenses & Certifications: RDCS or equivalent. Preferred Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in allied health/sonography. Experience: Less than 2 years. Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
