Sr Structural Engineer (Data Center)

Position Overview Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team. Design and analyze structural components for Data Center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocation facilities. Collaborate with a diverse engineering team and coordinate with design departments across domestic and international Jacobs offices. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of structural analyses. Create computer models for structures. Conduct member and foundation design calculations, prepare material take‑offs for estimating, and produce miscellaneous calculations. Assist with project schedules and coordinate deliverables. Travel to client sites as needed (approximately 10% to 20% travel). Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering. Eight or more years of professional experience in structural engineering. Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D). Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD. Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other relevant design codes and standards. Knowledge and application of Building Codes. Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including MS Teams for remote coordination. Desired Qualifications Master of Science in Engineering. Experience with industrial metals projects, such as casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industry projects. Leadership experience in delivering commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations. Salary The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $182,700.00. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as experience and education.
