About this PositionThe Accounting Specialist for the College of Arts and Sciences Business Operations Office provides financial and administrative support for the college's centralized business operations. Responsibilities include assisting with purchasing, travel, PCard administration, deposits, financial documentation, and other business office functions in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) and 2 years of financial or accounting experience.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
- Ability to operate general office equipment; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Teams).
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- HS/GED and 3 years of financial or accounting experience.
- Experience with OSU purchasing and travel policies and procedures.
