Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The RN will work on a 3x12 night shift, ensuring patient safety and comfort while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for ICU patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate smooth patient care transitions.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active SC license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Strong patient ratio experience with 2-3 patient assignments.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
