This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Intermediate Care Unit, focusing on patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient recovery and safety. Job Details Position Description: Replacement, need 10/19 start! Assignment 16-26 weeks. Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) minimum of 1 year telemetry experience required; recent Epic experience (within past 2 years) is mandatory; NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required at submission, noting that NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks. Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules for any reason. Additional Information: Will be assigned to float team, must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve. Bi-weekly orientations starting 11/02; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required; reliable transportation strongly recommended; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April. Float: Float rotation may be required.
