• End Date: Ongoing/Monthly coverage
• Schedule: 8am-4pm, one week per month (Monday to Sunday)
• Shift Length: 8 hours, guaranteed hours, with overtimes potentially applicable
• Hours/Week: 8 hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem
• Licenses/Certifications: Active or IMLC license, DEA, BLS, PALS, NRP, Board Certified
• Experience: Minimum required - recent procedures in lumbar punctures, arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and airway management

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient neonatal care focused on lower-acuity patients in the NICU
• Rounding and assessment during daytime shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
• Conduct procedures such as lumbar punctures, arterial and central lines, chest tubes, and airway management
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with clinical guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continual education

What You Need
Required:

• Active or IMLC license in Texas (or eligible for license)
• DEA certification
• Board Certification in Neonatology
• BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• Recent experience with intracranial, arterial, and chest procedures

Preferred:

• Prior NICU experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
